My Mom was a great cook and, though I didn't know it at the time, watching her bake and cook all those many years ago I was learning to love to create with food.
She taught me how to eat and cook healthy foods and though she didn't know it she was ahead of her time in thinking about eating well. She was raised on a farm with 10 other siblings. . . they ate what the grew and raised (only animals).
There were no processed foods, high sugary snacks, pop, and some times not too much food, period.
